Southern APC Stakeholder Moves Swiftly After Galadima’s Declaration, Mobilises Grassroots for Tinubu and APC Candidates

Barely after the official declaration of the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Tijjani Galadima Aminu, and the unveiling of his policy direction for Adamawa State, a major political stakeholder from the Southern Senatorial Zone, Hon. Bema Ovaldi Madayi, has moved swiftly to translate the message of the declaration into grassroots political action.
Her response represents an important transition from declaration to mobilisation. Through consultations, strategic engagements and discussions within her political constituency, Madayi has begun activating supporters around what she describes as a collective responsibility to deliver the Renewed Hope Mandate, return President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, elect Galadima as Governor, and secure victory for APC candidates from top to bottom in 2027.
For Madayi, the impressive gathering at Galadima’s declaration was more than a political ceremony. She described it as evidence of the candidate’s capacity to unite different interests and assemble competent people around a common vision for Adamawa.
“No doubt, fate has once again handed us a leader with the Adamawa dream—a unifying figure with a track record of integrity, professional conduct and the administrative capacity to bring the best hands together for the development of our state.”
Her intervention is particularly significant because political declarations achieve their real purpose only when leaders and supporters carry their message beyond event centres and into wards, communities and polling units.
Madayi has consequently challenged her political base and supporters to personalise the Galadima project, defend its objectives and communicate its benefits directly to the people.
She believes the developmental foundation established by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri requires a successor capable of consolidating existing gains while opening new opportunities for communities across Adamawa.
In her assessment, Galadima possesses the temperament, experience and inclusive disposition necessary to sustain that trajectory.
“With Tijjani as Governor, Adamawa will remain a reflection of democracy working in Nigeria,” she maintained.
Renewed Hope From Abuja to Adamawa
Madayi’s mobilisation is equally anchored on the presidential contest. She has been vocal about the importance of Southern Adamawa contributing decisively to the continuation of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope administration.
She argued that continuity at the federal level should be viewed within the broader context of national stability, mutual respect and the need to allow ongoing reforms sufficient time to produce their intended results.
“Our decision for the South to continue at the presidency is purely based on mutual respect and the interests of the Nigerian people. What President Tinubu inherited cannot be overcome overnight, and the efforts already in place must be allowed to mature.”
This is the political message now taking shape across her base: Tinubu for President, Galadima for Governor and victory for the APC across the ballot.
The enthusiasm being generated among her supporters suggests that Southern Adamawa is preparing not merely to participate in the 2027 contest, but to organise deliberately for it.
For the APC, this is precisely the kind of swift post-declaration response required across the state. Every stakeholder, support group, ward leader and party member must transform endorsement into organisation and organisation into votes.
The declaration has been made. The vision has been presented. Hon. Bema Ovaldi Madayi and her political base are already moving with the mandate.
From the Presidency to the Government House, from the National Assembly to the State Assembly, the emerging message is unmistakable: APC from top to bottom in 2027.
