Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has appointed Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur as Director General of the Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement (ARH 226 M), a political mobilization platform set up to drive the All Progressives Congress (APC) toward victory in the 2027 general elections.
What Is the ARH 226 Movement?
The Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement is a strategic political structure designed to strengthen the APC’s chances both in Adamawa State and nationally in 2027. The initiative is framed as an extension of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aligning state-level party mobilization with the broader national political vision.
Why Prof. Tukur?
Announcing the appointment, Governor Fintiri praised Prof. Tukur’s credentials, citing his academic standing, leadership record, and long-standing commitment to democratic values. The Governor pointed to Tukur’s combined background in governance, scholarship, and grassroots organizing as key reasons for entrusting him with the role.
